The firm’s founder, Barry L. Rodolff, Esq., has nearly a quarter-century of experience in civil litigation, including jury trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlements on behalf of major national and international corporations. He strives for bullet-proof preparation for litigation, a thorough understanding of the law, and relentless advocacy on behalf of clients that simultaneously maintains the highest levels of professionalism and civility.
The Rodolff Law Firm, APC takes prides in maintaining close communication with clients and on always being responsive to clients needs, including keeping litigation costs reasonable. Toward that end, the firm strives to resolve cases at the earliest opportunity — but never accepting unnecessary, unfair or unjustifiable settlements. Over the years, Mr. Rodolff has been able to convince plaintiffs’ counsel not to file certain lawsuits, or, when a suit is pending, to obtain dismissals for a waiver of costs. He continues his efforts to obtain dismissals without any payment by his client during the course of the litigation.
The Rodolff Law Firm, APC also strongly supports mediation. Mr. Rodolff has resolved a large number of cases at mediation. He believes that in cases where there is liability, mediation is appropriate in order to reduce defense costs. Even in cases with no liability or questionable liability, Mr. Rodolff has aggressively pursued mediation in an effort to have a neutral mediator convince plaintiffs to drop their cases or accept nominal settlement amounts.
The Rodolff Law Firm, APC understands that clients must be cautious about litigation expense in these challenging economic times. As a former in-house and outside counsel for insurance companies, Barry Rodolff knows how to satisfy client demands for complete and detailed billing statements. Mr. Rodolff also was the chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Orange County Bar Association for several years. As such, he understands how to keep overhead and costs under control and client bills manageable.
